Oickle, Marie Evelyn – 69, Moncton, passed away February 6th, 2023 in The Moncton Hospital, Moncton, NB. Born in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Norma (Beaton) Hunter. Marie worked as a cook at Oxford Elementary School and later Oxford Regional High School. She was a member of Little River Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Russell; son, James (Paula), Oxford; daughter, Lisa Oickle (Isaac Estabrooks), Moncton; grandchildren, Angel, Jaxon, Norissa, Asia, Jazmine, great-grandchildren, Jason, Alex, Mercedes; brother, Kenneth (Darlene), Springhill; Patricia (Scott) Purcell, Nashville, TN; sister-in-law, Darlene Hunter, Springhill. She was predeceased by brother, Norman Hunter; grandchildren, Coleman and Stephen Sears. Graveside service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Oxford.
