It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our much loved Mother,
Marie Corcoran, on August 27th, 2023 at the age of 62 with her beloved daughter,
Michelle, at her bedside.
Marie was a strong, independent woman who worked hard all her life. She was a
wonderful Mother who was always supportive to her children.
Beloved Mother of Michelle (Allan), Michael, and Daniel. Cherished Grandmother of
Owen and Taylor. Dear sister of Patti (Rod) Cooper and Ed (Heather). Predeceased
by her parents Vernon and Barbara, and brother Douglas. Lovingly remembered by
her many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and those that had the pleasure
of knowing her.
Marie will always be remembered for her love of gardening, spending
time baking with her Grandkids, and her love of being at the cottage with her family.
A Special thank you to the staff of Lakeridge Health Bowmanville for their exceptional care and compassion.
A celebration of Life visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home 1289
Keith Ross Drive in Oshawa (905) 440 3595 on Thursday September7th from
6:00pm to 8:00pm. In Lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to a local
Animal Shelter in memory of Marie and her love for animals.
