With the sudden passing of Josi (Pina) Pietrantuono on Thursday January 5th 2023, our family has endured a devastating and tragic loss. Pina was the beloved daughter of Rosetta and Graziano Pietrantuono. Loved sister of Anthony Pietrantuono (Santa), Lucy Nuic (Kreso), Adriana Rombough (Mike), Gaetano Pietrantuono (Nella). Cherished Zia of Graziano, Rosa, Kristian, Lina, Alexander, Nicholas, Xavier and Gia. She will be terribly missed by all her aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
Pina was the anchor to our family and our guiding light. She was the most selfless person that we will ever have the privilege of knowing. She had the power to persuade you and the fight in her heart to stay true to her convictions regardless of the circumstance. Pina’s devotion to her family and friends and her commitment to give more then she ever received resonates with all who knew her at any level. Pina chose to be a donor. Her final gift that she sacrificed for others was giving a child the ability to keep their heart beating, and another the chance to see the world with her beautiful brown eyes. Our hearts are eternally broken. May her soul rest in peace as she watches and protects us from above with God in Whom We Trust.
Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with Prayer Vigil at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 934 Highway #8, Winona, on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 12 noon. Cremation to follow.
