Peacefully at Stevenson Memorial Hospital, Alliston, on March 18, 2023. Maria Dol (nee: Vanderpost) at 87 years of age, beloved wife for 53 years of the late Johannes “Joe” Dol. Loving mother of Gordon (Andrea), Stephen (Christine, and the late Corrine), and Roger (Palma). Sadly missed by her grandchildren: Matthew (Trista), Patrick (Shelby), Eric (Leighanne), Colleen (Angus), Jeffrey (Jenny), Cassie (Luca), Cassandra (Lucas), Delilah, and Keanna. Dear great grandmother of Rielan, Everly, Elora, Layla, and Thomas. Maria will be deeply missed by her 4 legged friend and loving companion “Poco”. Loving Daughter of the late Hendricus and Elizabeth J. Vanderpost, Dear sister of the late Leonard (Willy), Hank (Betty Lou), Peter (Carol), the late John (Cheryl), and Jake (the late Anne). Fondly remembered by her brothers and sisters-in-law from the Dol Family and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Resting at Rod Abrams Funeral Home, 1666 Tottenham Rd., Tottenham 905-936-3477 on Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Paul the Apostle Church, 190 King St., South, Alliston, on Monday March 27, 2023 at 10am, followed by interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Alliston.
