POZZOBON, Marcellino – Surrounded by his loving family, in the home he built in Niagara Falls, Marcellino left us on Saturday September 2, 2023 at the age of 89. Deeply loved husband of Laura (nee Piccirillo) Pozzobon. Cherished father of Robert (Patricia) Pozzobon, Edward (Stacey) Pozzobon, Daniel (Cindy) Pozzobon and cherished Nonno of Nadine (Jonny Hunt), Rachel, Nicholas (Michelle), Cassandra, Alyssa, Marcus, Jacob, Adam. Dear brother of Giovannina Menelle, Carlo (Laura) Pozzobon, Ricardo (Paolina) Pozzobon and brother-in-law to Pierina Bordin, Mario De Biasi, Nancy Piccirillo, Anna Maria Bonato, Mike (Tina) Piccirillo, Tom (Sharon) Piccirillo, Charlie (Renee) Piccirillo and Barbara Piccirillo. Predeceased by his parents Umberto Antonio and Ines Pozzobon, parents-in-law Salvatore and Felicia Piccirillo and siblings Giuseppina, Maria (Domenico) Basso, Amelia (Arduino) Schiavon, Attilio (Rina) Pozzobon, Luigi (Marina) Pozzobon, Giovannni (Elide) Pozzobon, Fortunato (Italia) Pozzobon, Amadeo Pozzobon, Evaristo Menelle, Maria De Biasi, Pat Piccirillo, Alex Piccirillo and Paolo Bonato. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. Mr. Pozzobon will be remembered as a devoted family man who was a good provider. He taught his family to hunt and fish, and also passed down many traditions. He was hardworking, industrious and was a bricklayer for over 40 years. Mr. Pozzobon was a devout Catholic and an active parishioner at Our Lady of the Scapular Church for many years. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Thursday September 7, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Vigil prayers will be held at 3:00 pm at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday September 8, 2023 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of The Scapular Church, with the Rite of Entombment will follow at Fairview Mausoleum. In memory of Marcellino, donations to The St. Vincent de Paul Society (Our Lady of the Scapular Church) would be appreciated by his family. Online condolences at pattersonfuneralhome.com
