Obituary of Marcella Renee Lefthand

December 28, 2022 – Morley, Alberta
Marcella Lefthand was called home by our Creator on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the age of 46 years.
When Marcella was seven, she had a cat that she made exercise to a tv show with music. She would dance with it every morning and always stayed up dancing with the cat yelling “I’m yours.”
She was always bringing home stray animals. They caught magpies and they flew all around in the trailer, her grandma would tell them to make it rain. So, they took them outside. Her brother asked what magpies ate, and was told by his mom, “anything.” So, they fed them whatever they could find. Later as an adult, she brought homeless people into her home. She was always giving so much to others, and although she never got things back, she was okay with it and was always forgiving.
Marcella and her brother were close, and there were times when they were younger that she enjoyed dressing him up.
Marcella met the love of her life at 17, and they grew up together. Willard Labelle and Marcelle Lefthand were together for 29 years. Tara Labelle was born when they were 18. Marcella was so happy with her daughter’s birth that soon she was followed by Willard Lefthand, Tom Labelle, Austin Labelle, Belle Labelle, Ashley Lefthand and Orlando Labelle.
Marcella loved to shop and cook and wanted to one day own her own pizza place. She loved having barbeques, birthday parties, game nights and visiting friends. But most importantly, she loved her kids and husband, for whom she would do anything.
She enjoyed adventures and trips to Calaway Park and the Stampede with her family, and always loved visits from them. There was no one as kind or as sweet, she had a heart of gold and lots of love to give.
Marcella was a devoted mother; she wanted her son to be a singer and her daughter to become an actor. She wanted everything good in the world for her kids and extended family. We wish she could have been around longer, so we could have granted her, her wishes. We will miss and love her forever.

Wake Services will be held at the residence of Tara Labelle (Morley, AB) on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at Morley United Church (Morley, AB) on Wednesday January 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Chiniki Cemetery (Morley, AB).
