Our beautiful and courageous Madison Elizabeth Kirby passed unexpected on January 5th, just eleven days after we welcomed her into the world. Maddi was born December 24th, 2022 weighing 8lbs 4oz at Mt. Sanai hospital in Toronto.
During her short time here on Earth she touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. Her life was a brief gift to us that will live on in our broken hearts forever.
Madison is the daughter of Steve Kirby and Alysha Blum, of Ingersoll, Ontario. Maddi is survived by three siblings, Hunter and Aislynn Kirby, and Cohen Hoskin. She’ll forever be in the thoughts of her aunts & uncles Paul (Becky) Kirby, Max (Krista) Kirby, and Travis (Kathleen) Blum, Trevor (Wendy), Dwayne (Jan) and Michael. Her grandparents are Mitch and Karen Kirby of Foldens, Ontario. Linda Bayne (Bruce) of Stratford, and Alan & Brenda Blum of Tavistock.
Alysha and Steve would like to express their immense gratitude to friends and family that have supported them over the last few months.
In lieu of flowers we would be honored to have you support the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) as they supported us in our time of need.
Visitation & funeral services will be open to the public at Francis Funeral Home in Tavistock on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 1-3pm, with the funeral service commencing at 3pm, and a celebration of life to follow at the Tavistock Legion. There will be a private burial for the family the following morning on Friday, January 13, 2023.
