Zylstra, Lynne Marie (nee Rodgers) –
Peacefully on Saturday February 18, 2023 at her home in Georgetown. Lynne, in her 73rd year, best friend and wife of Gil for 54 years. Loving mother of Diane (Lawrence), Dwayne (Sue), David (Emma) and Darlene (Scott). Lynne will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Ashley (Vince), Taylor, Spencer, Austin, Nathan, Adrienne, Andrea, Griffen, Dawson, and Ava. Lynne was so proud of all her grandchildren but even more so with the addition of her great-granddaughter Addison. Lynne was the beloved daughter of the late June and Guy Rodgers and daughter-in-law of Gina and the late George Zylstra. Dear sister of Ross (Jan) and sister-in-law of Lorraine (the late Steve), Charles (Corrie), Owen (Julie) and Corrie (the late Fred). Lynne will also be forever remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Saturday March 18, 2023 from 1 p.m. until time of memorial service in the chapel at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
