Bretzloff, Lynn (1985 – 2023)
Lynn’s remarkable life touched the hearts of many, and it is with profound sadness that the family announces her passing on Monday, September 11, 2023, at the age of 38, after a courageous battle with Huntington’s disease. Lynn, beloved daughter of Michael Bretzloff (Michelle Sylvestre) and the late Nicole Lapointe, dear sister of Cathy Bretzloff, and stepsister of Dan Ethier (Michael), Andrée Maisonneuve (Justin Bailey), and Eric Maisonneuve (Danielle Gauthier). She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and especially by her devoted grandmother, Marie Razeau. Lynn’s life was marked by her unwavering strength and her distinct sense of humour, which brought joy to all who knew her. She will be fondly remembered by the staff and residents at the Au Chateau, where she shared her love for bingo, skip-bo, and, most of all, happy hour. Lynn’s love for hugs was well-known and cherished by all who had the privilege of receiving one. Her legacy of courage, positivity, and affection will continue to inspire us all. The family will receive friends at the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls, on Saturday, September 23, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a celebration of life in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Funeral arrangements are in care of the Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home, Sturgeon Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Au Chateau would be greatly appreciated.
