With her family around her, Lynda Marlene Ball (nee Milton) passed away on May 6, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton. She was 78 years of age.
Lynda was adored by husband Raymond, and by her daughters Judy Baird (Burke), Kelly Steinke (John), and Jaime Ball (Joe). She was beloved by her three granddaughters, Sydney Todorovich (Stephen), Maddie Baird (Adriane) and Erin Baird. Lynda will be deeply missed by her sister Joyce McAllister, extended family, and friends.
Lynda was born on September 10, 1944 in Paris, Ontario. Ray was her high school sweetheart and the love of her life. After they married in 1964, they moved to Cambridge, Ontario where they made a happy home and raised their family. They relocated to Hamilton, Ontario after their retirement. Lynda will be fondly remembered for her independent spirit, love of good food and company, and her devotion to her family.
The family would like to thank the St. Joseph’s Hospital Intensive Care and Kidney Transplant teams for their wonderful and compassionate care.
At Lynda’s request, there will not be a funeral or memorial service. Donations in Lynda’s honour to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be much appreciated.
