God called Luigi peacefully on March 7th, 2023, at the age of 57. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Marianna. Cherished by his dear children, Sarah, Amanda, Adrian, and Luca. He will be deeply missed by his mother, Ida, and reunited in Heaven with his father, Pasquale. Luigi will always be remembered by his sister Maria Antonella (Alfonzo). He is cherished by his father-in-law Salvatore, and reunited with his mother-in-law, Francesca. He will be dearly missed by his sister-in-law, Mary (Frank), and all his nieces and nephews. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, colleagues, and many friends.
Louie immigrated from his hometown of Dipignano, Italy, to Toronto, Canada with his father, mother, and his big sister when he was just a little boy. He married his high school sweetheart and love of his life Marianna, in 1991. He was an incredibly hard-working, kind, and loving man. Family was everything to him, and he loved his wife and kids more than anything in the world. He spent most of his days working at Multiflex, building beautiful cabinetry. His happy place was being on his boat, spending summer weekends on the lake with his family.
If so desired, donations in memory of Luigi may be made to the Princess Margaret Foundation.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Sunday, March 12th, 2023, from 2-5 and 6-9 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 13th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. David’s Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major Mackenzie Dr. east of Jane St.). Entombment at Glendale Memorial Gardens to follow.
