Lorne Walton James Phillips
September 12, 1943, Brockville, ON – February 5, 2023, Kemptville, ON (79 years)
It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our father. Lorne Walton James Phillips, born September 12, 1943, passed away peacefully on February 5th, 2023, with his partner Linda Fry by his side. Lorne, beloved husband of the late Marion Eleanor Phillips (Bruce), loving father of Bruce (Paola) and Greg (Chris), grandfather to Luna and Lucas, dear son of the late Walton and Lilian, dear brother to Keith (Wendy) and the late Janet (Steve), uncle to Debbie, Kevin, Ron, and Carolyn, and friend to many in Nepean and Kemptville, he will be greatly missed. He was passionate about his family, friends, politics, and local sports. Lorne loved traveling south during the cold Ottawa winters and was grateful for his friends in Florida and Texas. We will all miss you Dad. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ottawa. A private internment and celebration of life to follow this spring.
