Obituary
With profound sadness and broken hearts, the family of Lloyd Cumby announce his passing on Thursday, March 16th,2023, at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 68 years.
Left to mourn with many loving memories are his wife Alvena nee Regular, children; Paula Barrett (David Davis) of Pollards Point and Blair (Selina) Cumby, of Fort McMurray. His grandchildren; Christopher (Heather) Barrett, of Fort McMurray, Brittany Barrett (Kyle White) of Reidsville and Aden Davis, of Pollards Point. Great grandchildren; Everly Barrett, Jaylen White, Brody Barrett & Ella White. His siblings; Nelson jr. (Donna) Cumby, of Howley, Rick (Bev) Cumby, of Clarenville, James (Ruby) Cumby, of Howley and Brenda (Karl) Kelly, of Howley. Siblings-in-law; Bruce Blundon, of Howley, Marilyn Cumby, of Clarenville, Hazel Hillier, of Deer Lake, Rose (Ken) Noel, of McIver’s, Kate (Gene) Barker, of Howley, Bruce Regular (Doreen) of CBS, Joyce (Terry) Blanchard, of Gilliams, Gilbert (Ethel) Regular, of Hampden, Elvis (Bobbi) Regular, of Hampden, Madonna (Phil) Ford, of Deer Lake, Tina (Terrance) Osmond, of Hampden, John (Tina) Regular of Hampden, his mother-in-law Maude Regular (Eugene Simms), and Alex Barrett the father of Paula’s children. Also left to mourn are numerous nieces, nephews other extended family and friends.
Lloyd was predeceased by his parents Nelson & Joyce Cumby, siblings; Wilson (Sandra) Cumby, Wayne Cumby and Gladys Blundon, and father-in-law; Prescott Regular.
Visitation will take place at the Pentecostal Church in Howley on Saturday, March 18th,2023 from 7-9 pm and continuing on Sunday, March 19th,2023 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Also, where the funeral service will be held on Monday, March 20th,2023 at 2 pm with Pastor Gifford officiating, internment will follow at the family plot.
