Mr. Lloyd Leslie Neil Paulsen passed away at the Lacombe Hospital and Care Centre on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the age of 83 years. Lloyd was born on August 13, 1939 in Innisfail, Alberta. He grew up in Spruce View, Alberta. Lloyd married his sweetheart, Sandi, in 1962, and together had two children. In 1971, they moved to Kamloops, British Columbia to build homes during the British Columbia boom. In 1985, they moved to Edson, Alberta and was working in the Oil Patch Wireline. In 1988, they moved to Red Deer, while continuing his career in the Oil and Gas Industry. They moved to Lacombe in 1990, which is where he resided until his passing. Lloyd loved horses, fishing, and he enjoyed watching hockey and baseball. He took great pride in his garden, loved woodworking and having a coffee out, as well as scratching his lotto tickets. Lloyd will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Karie and his son, Darren (Bonnie), his grandchildren and great grandchildren, Derek Conley; Cheyenne and Jamie Lynn, Tara and Cody Baker; Ethan and Brynlee, Cassie Boist and Casey Hill; Brooklyn, Braxxton and Emma; and half-brother, Wayne Oleson, along with all his family and friends, as he makes his journey to be with all who have crossed before him. Lloyd was predeceased by his loving wife, Sandi in June of 2022. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
