Lisa Marie Turco, age 59, passed away on January 5, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. Lisa bravely battled pancreatic cancer for over four years. She was the beloved wife of Frank, incredible mother of Francesca (Sean), Bianca (Chris), Ivanna (Evan), Vincent, and Frankie, adored grandmother (“Nonna Lili”) to Elijah, Madeline, Kendon, and James, and dearly loved sister to Amy (Andrew) and Paul (Nathalie). She is remembered by her loving parents Judith and Ralph, and admired grandmother Dorothy.
Lisa was known for her magnetic presence and her gift of bringing people together. She was constantly choosing joy, even in the midst of her suffering. Lisa was overwhelmingly generous with her time and resources, and full of life and energy, especially with her grandchildren and nieces. Lisa’s family often called her their ‘rock.’ She was a woman of abundance, a larger-than-life presence. She was a devoted friend to many, having treasured friendships from all ages and stages of her life. Lisa’s faith was earnest and childlike, and her church community was an extension of her family. A lover of cheese, Garth Brooks, dancing, cruises, anything sparkly, and Disney World, Lisa will be dearly missed by anyone who knew her.
