Predeceased by, husband Watson Reid, parents Simeon and Annie Daye, sister Olive Reid, brother John Daye, brother Allan Daye and Nephew Sr. Marvin Reid.
Leaving to mourn are her sons Jason (Lillian) and Jeffrey. Granddaughters Miranda and Nina. Brothers Willis (Alvina), Ancel and Wallace. Sister Joan (Lloyd). Close friends Norm and Dorethea Cullimore. Her nieces and nephews, extended family and many dear friends.
Linda was a very kind and hardworking woman who was loved by many. A wonderful cook, whose years in the hospitality business and brief period of owning her own restaurant awarded her a wide circle of friends, all of whom were drawn by her kindness and compassion, her wonderful sense of humour and her zest for life. In her younger years she loved to travel (she worked various jobs up north and in Alberta as cook and caretaker) and enjoyed spending time camping with her husband and dear friends(family) Norm and Dorethea Cullimore.
In her later years she enjoyed spending her time at home with her beloved cat Elvis who never left her side.
