Obituary For Lillian Therese Karakunte
Lillian Therese Karakunte of Nose Creek, Alberta, passed away on September 3, 2023 in Grande Prairie, AB. She was born at Sheep Creek, north of Grande Cache, Alberta, on May 3, 1937.
Lillian will be sadly missed by her son Jerry and her sisters, Florence, Marie, Margaret (Tom), and Elizabeth; her brothers, Roland, Billy, and Joe (Dorothy); also a nephew and niece she held close to her heart, Brayden “Awasis” (Jackie) and Jayla B.
She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Lillian was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Ida Karakunte; her daughter, Eva; her sister Adelaide; and her brothers, Ernest and Leo.
There will be a viewing on Friday, September 8th at 4 PM at Grovedale Hall. Lillian’s funeral service will be on Saturday, September 9 at 11 AM at St. Joseph Church in Grande Prairie.
