Obituary of Lenore Swan
(nee Andrews)
January 15, 1938 – July 8, 2023
Peacefully, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, Lenore joined the angles to continue watching out for her family and friends. Left to miss her deeply, is her husband and best friend Bob, son Rob (Sherri), daughters Leslee (Jeff) and Diana (Iain). Dear sister of Ross (Dorothy) and sister-in-law of Fred (Ruth). Loved Nana of Breanne (Cody), Kendall, Ashley and Rachel. Survived by her many nieces and nephews, with a special thank you to Karen, Dave and Glen, for their many hours spent helping the family. Special friend to Geri Pezdric, Irene and the late Paul Lang, plus the Winona Glenholme Group. Predeceased by her parents Leonard and Olive Andrews. The family also has a very special thank you to Dr. James Wright for his continued care of Lenore and to the entire staff of St. Peter’s, doctors, nurses, and support staff, for all of their loving support. A very special thanks to Dan, Rev. Scott Jones, and to Tom Busch and the staff of Donald V. Brown Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 11 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hamilton Burlington SPCA would be greatly appreciated.
