Jessie Leona (Lena) Villeneuve (nee Scott) passed away peacefully with family by her side, on Wednesday, March 1st, 2023 at Belvedere Heights, Parry Sound in her 99th year.
Beloved wife of the late Joe Villeneuve. Loving mother of Neil and his wife Louise, the late Michael (Sandra), Rodney (Marlene) and Kirby (Gloria). Loving Grandma of Joe (Danielle), MJ (Jenny), Randy (Dee), Caitlin, and Nicole (Jeff). Treasured GG to Evan, Alena, Madelyn, Mason, Rhys, and Jaxson. Dearly loved by her family and friends.
Lena was raised on the Scott family farm in Nobel, Ontario along with her nine siblings. Survived by her loving brother, Vince. Lena was famous for her pies and bread at the former Maple Leaf Restaurant and then managing Holiday Cove Marina with her husband Joe. We will always remember Lena for her love, her intelligence, her sense of humour, and particularly her wonderful stories.
Lena’s family would like to express a special thank you to the wonderful staff at Serenity Seniors Residence and Belvedere Heights for their extraordinary care and friendship.
As was Lena’s wish, cremation has taken place. Private family interment to follow.
