It is with great sadness that the family of Lawrence
Frederick Steeves “Larry” are sharing the news of his
passing surrounded by family at Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, April 11,
2023.
Larry was born July 15, 1939, in Saint John, NB, the
son of the late Burpee and Aline Steeves.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 63 years,
Jacqueline (Estey); three sons: Timothy (Sherry), Randall, and
Christopher (Carole); his grandchildren: Erin and Nicholas, Jeremy and
Dominique, and Josephine and Samuel, along with their mother,
Lisa.
Larry graduated from Saint John Vocational School and
went to work for CN Rail in 1957 where he worked until his retirement
35 years later. Larry was extremely proud of his family and was deeply
interested in the lives of his grandchildren. He took such great joy
in all of their achievements and
successes.
At the request of the
family, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. In memory
of Larry, any donations made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital,
Palliative Care Wing, will be appreciated.
