CROSS, LAWRENCE HOMER
May 11, 1927 – June 23, 2023
Peacefully, with family by his side, at Governor’s Walk Retirement Residence, Ottawa in his 97th year. Cherished husband of Dorothy Walsh for 70 years. Proud Dad of Marilyn Mullen (late David), late son David (Barbara) and Dwight (Marleine). Dear grandfather of 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Son of Homer and Esther (Martineau) Cross. Survived by brother Mervin (Mireille) and many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by Eldon (late Doreen), Percy (late Kaye), Garnet (late Bev) and Norma Clarke (late Harold). Following his retirement from the Federal Government of Canada, he and Dorothy enjoyed travels to many countries.
Visitation at the McGarry Memorial Chapel, 176 Route 105, Wakefield, Quebec on Friday, July 14, 2023 from 5pm to 8pm and on Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 1pm until time of service at 2pm. Cremation. A private family burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
