At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital Miss Laurina Mallet of
Lincoln passed away on June 13th 2023, She was
69. Born in Shippagan, NB she was a daughter of
the late Olivier and Maria (Bulger) Mallet.
Prior to her retirement, Laurina was working as a Executive
Secretary to the Base Commander at the Department of National Defense
CFB Gagetown. She was an avid traveler as well as a
passionate bingo player, enjoyed playing cards with family and
friends. She also spent many hours volunteering
her time around the city.
She will be deeply missed by her siblings: Polydore (late
Yvette), of Le Goulet, Ginette (Dwight) of New Maryland, Guilmont
(Yolande) of Savoie Landing, and Camillio (Caroline) of La Prairie,
Qc; her nieces and nephews: Mélanie (Pius), Marie-France,
Shawn (Wendy), Caroline (Will) et Yannick (Michel), great nieces and
nephews: Catherine (Jordan), Luc, Francis, Samuel, Jesse and
Maya. As well as several aunts, uncles, cousins,
special friends and goddaughters, Guylaine Bulger and Sonia
Haché.
She was predeceased by her grand parents Auguste and Ella
Mallet and Arthur and Mathilde Bulger and a special nephew Steven
Mallet (Caryne) and also many aunts and
uncles.
A celebration of Laurina’s life will be held on
Sunday June 18th 2023 from 12:30-4 PM at
Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road
Fredericton. A funeral Mass and interment will be held at Le
Goulet at a later date.
