La famille a le regret de vous annoncer le décès de Laurent (Pit) LeDuc survenu à Sturgeon Falls, le samedi 20 mai 2023 à l’âge de 84 ans. Fils de feu Adrien et de feue Béatrice (née St-Louis) LeDuc. Père bien aimé de Louise Marcoux (Bernard), Nicole LeDuc (Jean) et Gilles LeDuc (Pauline). Son souvenir restera gravé dans la mémoire de ses petits-enfants Serge (Jennifer), Stéphane (Danielle), David, Julie (Jeremy), Eric (Mary-Anne) et Mathieu et par ses arrières-petits-enfants Vincent, Brianne, Zaché et Guillaume. Frère de Albert (Jeanine), Claire Lavergne (feu Gérard) et Léo (Aline). Prédécédé par ses frères et sœur Georges (feue Helen), Hélène Plutino (feu Rocco) et Claude (feue Lilianne). Il laisse également dans la peine son ami très cher Mark Cruz. Laurent a travaillé 37 ans au moulin pâtes et papier de Sturgeon Falls. Dans ses temps libres il a passé plusieurs heures dans son atelier. Sa nature créative et son talent remarquable se voyait dans tous ses projets, plus particulièrement dans le rembourrage et la couture et la fabrication de meubles en bois. Sa passion pour la photographie et sa soif d’apprendre et découvrir l’a fait voyager et profiter de tout ce que la vie lui a apporté. Il aimait aussi être entouré de sa famille et ses amis.
Le service aura lieu à la Chapelle du salon Théorêt-Bourgeois le 2 juin à midi pour la famille et les proches. Que vos témoignages de condoléances se traduisent en dons au Conseil de famille Au Château. Repose en paix Papa.
The family announces with sorrow the death of Laurent (Pit) LeDuc in Sturgeon Falls, Saturday May 20, 2023 at the age of 84 years. Son of the late Adrien and of the late Béatrice (née St-Louis) LeDuc. Loving father of Louise Marcoux (Bernard), Nicole LeDuc (Jean), and Gilles LeDuc (Pauline). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Serge (Jennifer), Stéphane (Danielle), David, Julie (Jeremy), Eric (Mary-Anne) and Mathieu, and his great-grandchildren Vincent, Brianne, Zaché and Guillaume. Dear brother of Albert (Jeanine), Claire Lavergne (late Gérard), and Léo (Aline). Predeceased by his siblings Georges (late Helen), Hélène Plutino (late Rocco), and Claude (late Lilianne). He will also be sadly missed by his dear friend Mark Cruz.
Laurent worked 37 years at the pulp and paper mill in Sturgeon Falls. He will be remembered as a talented, creative and innovative man showing remarquable workmanship in all his projects, especially upholstery, sewing and wood furniture. His passion for photography and his inquisitive nature made him travel to many beautiful places and participate fully in everything life had to offer. He also loved to be surrounded by his family and friends. A service will be held at the Théorêt-Bourgeois Chapel on June 2nd at noon for close friends and family. Donations to Au Château Family Council would be appreciated. Rest in peace Papa.
