Obituary of Larry Hooper
Lawrence Herbert Hooper, a resident of Dresden, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at University Hospital, London at the age of 76. Born in Dresden, the son of the late Herbert and Eva (Turner) Hooper. Beloved husband of 43 years to Nancy (Paradis) Hooper. Missed dearly by his children Mike Walker (Heather), Jim Walker (Debbie), Lisa Churchmack (Brian) and Bonnie Walker (Joel). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Special thanks to Mitchell who was always by Papa’s side. Dear brother of Dennis Hooper. Predeceased by sister Charlotte Hooper and brothers Allan and Ken Hooper. Larry worked for 49 years at Conagra, Dresden and was a huge supporter of local Dresden Sports Teams. In his retirement he enjoyed camping, fishing and meeting his friends for coffee at the Track Kitchen. He will be missed by many! Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
