Obituary
Larry W. Powell, 80, of K.E. Spencer Memorial Home, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Wesley and Evelyn (Landry) Powell.
Larry retired after many years as a sheet metal worker in the Oshawa and Moncton areas; he held an interprovincial license (Red Seal) in that trade. He volunteered at St. Augustine’s Food Bank, and he also enjoyed delivering the Times & Transcript for 13 years.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 55 years, Phyllis Powell (nee White); daughters, Jennifer Corvec (Robert), Anne Powell (Kevin Levesque) and Meaghan Powell (David Hicks); five grandchildren, Andrew Corvac; Jonathan, Austin, Julie-Anne, Rosalyn Levesque; as well as several extended family members.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family, predeceased by his parents, and his brother Dennis.
In keeping with Larry’s wishes there will be no visitation hours or funeral service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (506-858-1995).
