It is with great sadness that we announce our mom and grandma’s passing on February 9, 2023. Predeceased by husband Wing Yuen on February 15, 1996, and survived by daughter; Susan (Troy), two grandsons; Dylan and Kyle as well as seven siblings and extended family.
Mom found immense joy through her family and friends. During her active years, she was a member of the Gum Sing Music Assoc., Hook Sin Tong Assoc., Chinatown Tai Chi, and Chinese Pentecostal Church. She is remembered for her kind and caring nature; selflessly putting others ahead of herself. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
We wish to thank all the good friends and family that visited Mom; as well as, the many doctors, nurses and care aids that gave her such good support during her courageous battle with cancer.
A funeral service will be held at McCall Gardens, on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC Cancer Agency.
