JOHNSON, ALLAN “KIRK”
With deep sadness and great heartache, we announce the sudden passing of Allan “Kirk” Johnson of Fredericton, NB, on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at his home. Born on October 31, 1962 in Bonavista, NL, he was the son of Clara ( Dalton ) Johnson and the late Isaac Johnson. Kirk was a licensed journeyman and carpenter; he also had his pilot’s license as a young man.
In addition to his mother, Kirk will be forever remembered by his loving partner and spouse, Pearl Parsons; his children, Meagan, Kristen, Catherine, Amanda Merlin (Aldrin) and Mallory Canning; grandchildren, Asher, Olivia, Stevie and one on the way; siblings, Steve (Una), Karen Butt (Gerald), Brian (Dorothy) and Jodi McQuinn (Brent); nieces, Laurie, Amanda, Tennille, Mariah, Jenna, Brianna and Megan; nephews, Stevie, Adam, Justin, Patrick and Chad; several great-nieces and nephews; brother-in-law George Flowers, sister-in-law Marsha (Mark) Flowers; nephews Jeffrey and Andrew; niece Brianna; and his fur babies, Maxwell, Frankie, Bella, Charlie and Ellie Mae.
Besides his father, Kirk was predeceased by his brother, Dennis.
The family will be hosting a Celebration of Kirk’s Life at Oakland Farm & Lodge, 65 Oakland Farm Lane , New Maryland, NB on Sunday, September 10, 2023 beginning at 6 pm. At the request of the family, in lieu of donations, do an act of kindness for a stranger. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
