Obituary of Kevin Arseneault
With heavy hearts the family of Kevin (Bud) Arseneault announce his passing peacefully at the age of 85 surrounded by his loving family.
Kevin is predeceased by his wife of 60 years Virginia (Ginny) Hamilton, his father Norman, step-father Clarence (Huguette) mother Ann Mette and sister Marlene Hendrickson.
He is survived by his brother Garry (Karen) and his sister Donna Smith (Dan).
Kevin is survived by his five children; Beth Arseneault, Paul Arseneault (Jennifer), Jane Beazley (Chris), Julie Wade (Doug), and Sandra/Sam Arseneault (Mark). Kevin was a loving grandfather to Kyle (Tiffany), Jacob (Ashley), and Nicholas (Nicole) Arseneault; Cosette, Spencer, Taylor, Luke, Julia Arseneault-Deraps; Brenden Wade; and Lauren and Claire Beazley. Kevin was also loved by his 2 great-grandsons Reed and Rylee Arseneault.
He will be sadly missed by his extended family, the Hamiltons and Myers, his many nieces and nephews, and his friends.
Kevin was an avid sailor who loved to travel with Ginny. His motto was “Explore, Experience, Enjoy” and we loved him for it. He always made time to sing and to dance and hold hands with those he loved. Our hearts are broken and we miss him already.
The family would like to thank the amazing staff and residents at Normandy Retirement Residence for their compassion care and love. A special thank you also to Dr David Zelt.
