Kevin Wade Stewart
– 58, of Old Barns passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023 at
Colchester East Hants Health Centre. Born in Truro, he was a son of
the late Russell and Christine (Nolan) Stewart. Kevin loved trucking
and farming and enjoyed time spent fishing.
Kevin is survived by
his sons, Jeffery (Kerri) Stewart, Beaverbrook, Joey (Debbie) Stewart,
Alberta, Matthew Stewart, Old Barns; daughters, Ashley Stewart,
Alberta, Riley Rushton, Truro; brothers, Dana Stewart, Old Barns,
Phillip (Rebecca) Collins, Alberta; sister, Donna (Wade) Taylor,
Seafoam, twin sister, Kim (Darren) McLean, Old Barns; several
grandchildren, nieces and nephews; companion, Juanita Hamilton of
Brookfield; and her children, Jeffery Hamilton, Debert, Allisha,
Shelina and Trista Hamilton, all of Brookfield; long-time friends,
Darrell (Brenda) Weatherby, Middle Stewiacke.
Honouring
Kevin’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral
service. A private family burial will take place at a later date in
Old Barns Cemetery. If so desired, donations in Kevin’s
memory to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Canadian Liver
Foundation are welcomed.
