WEDDELL, Kevin Ernest –
Kevin Ernest Weddell passed away suddenly at his home in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, on January 11, 2023, at the age of 53.
Kevin is survived by his son Ryan Weddell. They shared a deep love and were best friends. He is also survived by his best friend and life partner, Karen. Dear son of Thomas Robinson and beloved brother of Carolin Bleich and Richard Robinson all of whom he loved dearly and shared very close relationships with. Kevin will be lovingly remembered by many close family friends especially, Maureen and Enso.
Kevin is reunited with his beautiful Mother, Beverly Robinson, his Aunt Joyce Mortison and his Grandma and Grandpa, Frieda and Herbert Gunter.
Kevin was born on June 8, 1969, in Vancouver, British Columbia. Following his graduation from school in 1987, he worked as a labourer for a concrete pre-cast company.
Kevin loved to read and enjoyed many social activities. He loved nature and animals, especially our many family pets. He loved his family dearly and always watched out for us.
In 1997, Kevin moved to Sault Ste. Marie to start a new journey in his life. He soon met his life partner, Karen and in 1998, his son Ryan was born. For 26 years, Karen and Ryan felt truly blessed to have such a gentle, amazing and generous man in their lives.
Kevin was a kind and compassionate man with a tender loving soul. His loving relationship with his son Ryan was most important to him. Despite his adversities and health concerns, he selflessly devoted his time to helping and supporting others. Kevin found his true calling through his work and commitment to his sobriety. He touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
Kevin lived life to his fullest extent possible. He was young at heart, loved to laugh and spend time with family and friends. Kevin was blessed with an amazing circle of friends, who have loved and supported him, especially those from his mid-day group.
Kevin’s journey ended much too soon. He is at peace now and is soaring high above the clouds with Mom. Kevin will be forever imprinted in our hearts and will be deeply missed until our last breath
