Keith Bowes, age 70, of Bathurst, NB, passed away March 5, 2023 at Chaleur Regional Hospital from Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Keith was preceded in death by his wife, Aline Fournier and his parents Jack and Lillian Bowes.
Keith is survived by his step-daughter (his angel) Kathy Hennessy, his sister Nancy Sills, his brother Kevin Bowes, his nephews, Ryan, Jay, and Brady and his niece Briana. He valued and loved his sisterly cousin Betty Smyth, and brotherly friends Bruce Milton and Rob Abernethy.
Keith spent most of his adult life in Campbellton, NB with his wife Aline and his step-daughter Kathy. He earned a bachelor’s degree at St Thomas University, Fredericton, NB. He worked for several years as a Counsellor for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs and later worked at different jobs in Customer Service. Keith was an avid sports fan of golf, baseball and football. He was known for his sense of humour and gentle soul.
The family wish to thank the staff of 4West and the Palliative Care Nurses Carole, Daniel and Sherry for their wonderful care and support.
As an expression of sympathy, a donation can be made to Keith’s favourite, the IWK Children’s Hospital, Halifax, NS, or a charity of one’s choice.
As per Keith’s wishes there will be no visitation and no private or public service.
