Kathy Darlene Crawford at the age of 69 first born to Edward and Kathleen in Moncton, New Brunswick on November 5th 1953 so courageously and bravely welcomed Gods eternal love and stepped into the hands of our Lord when she peacefully passed with loved ones by her side in the afternoon of Monday August 21st 2023 at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital.
She was pre deceased by brothers Darrell (Sept.2022) and Broderick (Feb.2016) and her Mother (March.2022).
She leaves behind her Father Edward

Judy and Juanita(Ken).
Sister in laws Janet and Catherine
Nieces and Nephews Connie, Lisa, Kevin, Michelle, Rachael, Derek, Alysha and Rob.
Great Nieces and Nephews Andrew, Nicole, Tyson, Nathan and Madison.
Kathy’s first years began with the family residing in Minto, New Brunswick and surrounding areas where she spent many summer fun-filled days at Princess Park on Grand Lake. Its there she grew, learned to know and held onto many fond memories of her many cousins , adored Aunts and Uncles and her loving grandparents.
In 1965 at the age of 12 the family packed up and moved to the Cawthra/ Lakeshore area in Ontario.
It was there she attended Gordon Graydon Secondary School and made many lifelong relationships which she still carried today.
Her career started at Admiral on the lakeshore and then she moved onto The Bank of Montreal where she was well known and admired for many years.
She continued her banking career with moves that took her to Alliston, Owen Sound, Ottawa and her last residence of Huntsville where she could reside near family.
Girls weekends and the annual Jamboree in Owen Sound became a much loved tradition with her tight group of girlfriends at “The Cottage” on Lake Charles.
Many shenanigans, stories and proven photos came out of there which she still talked about today.
Kathy was married twice and did not have any children of her own.
She will be fondly and greatly remembered by all her nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews because she was known as the Special Aunt ( no rules need apply) as well as Nanna Kathy who provided and fulfilled their lives with many joys and continuous great love.
She played the games, read the books, blasted the music, sneaked the treats, did the day trips and had the sleepovers.
She loved them as much as they loved her.
Kathys love and heart of giving for her family and friends was enormous and beyond measure.
Many thanks and appreciation to the doctors, nursing team and palliative team at Huntsville District Hospital for their consistent care, comfort and support and gift of peace for Kathy and our family during her admission and passing.
Following Kathy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and at her direction no public future service or arrangements will be made.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to Huntsville Hospital Foundation , The Canadian Lung Association or near to her heart Autism Canada.
