McCue, Kathleen “Kay” Gertrude (nee Keys) – Peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, in her 95th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 64 years, Edward “Ted” McCue. Loving mother of Jack (Christine) of Ingleside, Ted (Donna) of Inverary and David (Marilyn) of Brockville. Proud Grandma of Sean (Ali), Kevin (Erin), Casey (Ashley), Sarah, Emily (Kane). Great-Grandma of Hayley, Lily, Audrey, Adeline and Kelsey. Dear sister of the late William (Helen) and Jean (Herbert).
Special thanks to the staff of Kidd 10, KGH for their compassionate care during Kay’s illness.
In accordance with Kay’s wishes, cremation will be followed by the Rite of Committal at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Boulevard, on Monday, July 10, 2023, from 10:30 – 1120 am. The Liturgy of the Word will be held in the Chapel at 11:30 am with Monsignor Joe Lynch officiating. A reception will follow in the James Reid Reception and Celebration Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice in Kay’s memory would be welcomed by her family.
