Kathleen “Kay” Caldwell, 89, of Moncton, passed
away peacefully on Sunday May 7, 2023 at the Villa du Repos. Born in
Red Bank, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Clara
(Robichaud) Walsh.
Prior to her retirement, Kay enjoyed waitressing and had
worked at The Coffee Mill in the former Moncton Mall and retired at
Heritage Court. Kay loved music and reminiscing about going to dances
every weekend in her younger years. After retirement, she
enjoyed reading, doing word search puzzles and of course, ice
cream.
Kay will be forever missed by her daughter, Shelley Melanson
(Sean) of Dieppe; two grandsons: Alex and Noah; two brothers: Ken
Walsh (Louise) of Hebbville, NS and Clair Walsh (Patricia) of Moncton;
and several nephews and nieces.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister,
Willamina Connors.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no visitation
and no funeral service. In memory of Kathleen, a contribution to the
SPCA would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements are in the
professional care of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Moncton
