She was pre-deceased by her husband, Pierson “Skip” Beckwith and parents, Capt. Charles A. and Sylvia M. (Matheson) Shaw.
Claire is survived by sister, Dianne MacAdam and brother, Bob (Anne) Shaw.
Her enduring thoughts were of nature and of the animals that she and Skip shared their lives with.
