LAWSON, Karen Eveline (nee Beaupre) –
Passed away on Friday June 16, 2023 at General & Marine Hospital, Collingwood. She will be missed by her husband of 34 years, Marty Lawson. Karen will also be missed by her siblings, Margaret Bishop, Sharon (Fred) Bradshaw, Rod (Roseanne), Grace (Paul) Mutton, Debra and Robbin (Debbie). Predeceased by her parents Gerald and Ethel (nee Hewitt) Beaupre and older infant brother Edwin “Teddy”. Fondly known by her youthful friends as “The Boppe.” After a long period of suffering, Karen finally found her one day with no more pain and for all eternity.
As per Karen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Karen’s life and interment with her parents, will take place at a later date, at First Presbyterian Cemetery, Collingwood. In Karen’s memory, she has requested donations to be made to: Furry Friends, Collingwood, Hospice Georgian Triangle – Campbell House or General & Marine Hospital Foundation.
