Karen Elizabeth Webb: Amazing mom to Jennifer (Timothy Tsafaridis) and Matt Hauth; big sister to Nancy Webb and Gerry Kinna; beloved “Auntie KK” to Ryan (Ry-Pie), Miranda, Scott (Scooter) and Julia (B) Kinna, Jocelyn (Jocels) and Jamie (Jimbo) Wiginton; sister in law to Cam Wiginton and Doug Kinna and loyal friend to her Scotiabank, GO train and Stouffville buddies of which there are so many. Karen leaves a legacy of kindness, compassion loyalty and generosity. She was the person who didn’t wait to be asked to help when someone needed support, and more often than not she had Jenn and Matt at her side. She was the family member who kept everyone in touch; made the family favourite “Granny squares” and “Burger Noodle” for her nieces and nephews and could update you on every family member no matter how distant. From baking and needlepointing to kayaking and walking (while talking on the phone to family) she had many loves but none greater than that of being a mom to her two amazing kids. A private celebration of life will be held at a future date. Donations to Asthma Canada, Project Purple (www.projectpurple.org), or your local dog rescue are gratefully accepted to honour the legacy of an amazing family member, friend, neighbour and colleague. The family also encourages anyone who can, to regularly donate blood.
