Obituary of Kalayna Jocelyn Yuzicapi
Yuzicapi, Kalayna Jocelyn (Northern Thunderbird Woman) (Kīwētino – pinēhsi – ihkwē), 22 years young of Saskatoon, SK.
The family of Kalayna are deeply saddened to announce her passing on Saturday, March 18th, 2023, with her family by her side.
Predeceased by her brother Kael Joseph, Papa Mickey, Grandma Genevieve, Grandma Audrey, Grandma Flo, and Auntie Amanda.
Kalayna is survived by her two children, daughter Kendalyn (age 7) and her son Kamryn (age 5). She will be deeply missed by them. She is survived by her mother Renee, her brother Joel (niece Truthlynn), sister Janessa (nephew Kaed), sister Kalyssa, grandparents Joe & Joyce, aunties Krista & Pamela (Alvin), cousin Cheyenne (Ramon), godparents Krista and Carrie, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and her special friend Devon.
Visitation for Kalayna will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21st at Saskatoon Funeral Home (338 – 4th Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK), with a prayer service starting at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22nd at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church (211 Avenue O South, Saskatoon, SK), with reception to follow in the lower hall of the church.
