It is with deep sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of June after a complete and full life at the age of 91 on July 2, 2023. Loving mother to Debbie (Bill), Derek (Laura), Darlene (Karen), Diane (Mark) and daughter of the heart Brenda (Danny). Cherished grandmother to Martha (François), Ricky (Holly), Blake, Kyla, Courtney (Nick), Evan (Jacquie), Molly. She also leaves behind 7 great grandchildren and nephews John, Glenn, and Dominic Palangio.
June will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. As per June’s wishes she has been cremated and there will be a private burial at Montreal Memorial Park. Donations in her memory can be made to the Alzheimer and Cancer Societies of Canada.
The family wishes to thank her wonderful caregiver and friend Margarita who cared for June with the utmost compassion and respect.
Special thanks to the 6th floor staff at Centre d’hébergement de Lachine.
In lieu of a service the family will host a celebration of her life for family and friends on Saturday, September 9, 2023, between 12:00 and 2:00 pm at the home of Darlene and Karen at 208 Evergreen Drive, Beaconsfield QC H9W 2A9.
