DAER, June Loretta (Yungblut)
June passed away peacefully just 3 days shy of her 75th birthday, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at the Chartwell Westmount Long Term Care, Kitchener. June was born in London, Ontario, a daughter of the late Frederick and Doris Yungblut.
Cherished and loving mother of Jason and his wife Leighann Daer, and mother-in-law of Todd Winkworth. Proud grandmother of Abbigail and Logan Daer, Zach and Avery Winkworth. June will be missed by her siblings; Earl (Elke) Yungblut, Tom (Henne) Yungblut, Louis Yungblut, Anne Legg, Marie Yungblut, Laura (Larry) Turvey and George (Carol) Yungblut, and by many nieces and nephews.
June is now reunited with her beloved husband Lorne Daer (April 8, 2011), daughter Laura Winkworth (March 28, 2019), and her father and mother.
June struggled with dementia during her short life. She was a loving and cherished mother and grandmother. She had a great passion for country music and her family and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation will take place at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg, on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, from 2–4 & 6 -8 p.m. A memorial service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Blyth Union Cemetery where June will rest with her beloved husband.
As expressions of sympathy, donations would be accepted to Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society and can be made through the funeral home.
