With broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of
our sister, Judith Ann Charlene (Allen)
Trenholm at the Moncton City Hospital on Sunday, March
19, 2023 at the age of 75. Born June 6, 1947, in Spence Settlement,
NB, she was the daughter of the late Merville and Hazel (McGlashing)
Allen.
Judy enjoyed many hobbies both indoors and outside.
She worked different jobs over her lifetime but really enjoyed being a
homemaker to seniors. She loved her cats and dog Becky Boo. In her
earlier life she was the community barber.
Judy is survived by an adopted daughter, Tanya
Vinton; grandchildren Douglas, Kayla, and Hayley; great-grandchildren
Maria and Jonah; sisters Meredith (Wallace) Lake, Neita Crawford,
Carolyn (Eugene) Proctor, Lorena (Gary) O’Hanley; brothers
Jack (Tatty) Allen, Donald (Kathy) Allen, Jerry (Ann) Allen;
sister-in-laws Muriel Allen, Linda Allen, Vivian Allen, and Frances
Robertson; brother-in-law Sandy (Allegra) Knox; as well as several
nieces and nephews on both sides of the family.
She was predeceased by her husband Laurie (February
23, 2021); and son Kevin (September 5, 1987); brothers Sherman,
Sheldon; sisters Edna and Zelda; brother-in-law Odis
Crawford.
Arrangements are under the care and supervision of
Jones Funeral Homes, Port Elgin and
Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). Cremation has taken place, and Judy will
be interred in the Bayfield Cemetery in the family plot on Saturday,
July 22, 2023 at 3:00pm. All are welcome.
Donations in memory of Judy may be made to the
Bayfield Cemetery.
