It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Joyce Ann Cave (Swan) on March 26, 2023.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at a later date.
Joyce was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on May 19, 1954. She worked various jobs throughout the years, from office work to retail, ending her career at Superstore.
Joyce was predeceased by her husband Robert Cave; mother June; father Hugh; and brothers Ron and Hugh Jr.
She will be deeply missed by her children Mike (46), Crystal (43), Ashley (39); her sons in law Justin and Dwight; and her seven grandchildren Kaitlyn (25), Nick (25), Rory (15), Lily (11), Aiden (10), Asher (8) and Charlotte (3).
She is survived by her brother Rick.
In her earlier years Joyce loved curling, darts, bingo and bowling and met many friends along the way.
Joyce also enjoyed playing cards with friends on the weekends with her husband Robert.
Joyce loved spending time with her children and her grandchildren during the summers poolside in the backyard, or taking trips to the United States to visit her son and his family.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to Cancer Care Manitoba Foundation.
