ROVERT, Joyce (nee MacDonnell). Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Monday September 18, 2023 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Frank Rovert (1996) and cherished Mother of Terri (Mark) Hinsperger, Tammy (Neil) Alderton and Chris (Samantha) Rovert. Loving Nanny to Mathew Hinsperger, Curtis Hinsperger Heather (Tyler) Carrier, Michael (Brianna) Alderton and Jennifer Alderton. Joyce is survived by her siblings Sheila (the late George) Spatar, Lorne (Arly) MacDonnell, Angus (the late Ethel) MacDonnell, Donna (Doug) French, Gordon (Kimmer) MacDonnell, the late Sybil Gallo, brother-in-law Tony Gallo as well as many nieces and nephews She is predeceased by her parents Hamlin and Leontine (nee Desbien) MacDonnell. The family wishes to thank her niece Kathy Evans and her husband Chris for all their love and support. Joyce was a very kind hearted person, always available to help anyone at anytime. She spent her life devoted to her family and her fur companion ‘Lucky’. She enjoyed weekly card games with her siblings and having coffee with her neighbours. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Thursday September 21, 2023 from 7:00 pm. to 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service in celebration of her life will be held Friday September 22, 2023 at 1:00 pm at the Funeral Home with the Rite of Committal to follow at Lundy’s Lane Cemetery.
