Olivia Joyce Mason
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dearest mother, Joyce Mason on July 8, 2023 at Princess Gardens Retirement Residence. Mom was in her ninety-ninth year. Widow of the late Frank Allen and John Elliott (Curly) Mason. Beloved mother of Gayle Miller (Wayne), Lynne Berry (Philip), Patricia Hopgood (Kenneth, Deceased), James Allen (Susan), Steve Allen (Deceased) and Dawne Cornel (Henry). She also leaves her cherished sister Beatrice Gwilliams. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Lisa Johansson (Martin), Brent Miller, Katharine Berry (Jeff Fardella) Christopher Allen (Teresa), Stephanie Grant (Jody), Meghan Allen (Luis Alonso), LaVonne Allen (John Shepherd), and Jessica and Hilary Cornel. She will also be missed by her many great grandchildren.
Our family will be forever grateful to the wonderful Third Floor Staff at Princess Gardens for their tender care.
We also send our gratitude to Dr. Morelli and all the health care professionals who gave Mom their care and compassion during her most difficult moments.
Following our mother’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private interment service will be held at a later date.
