Peacefully and surrounded by her family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, the death occurred of Josephine Elizabeth MacPherson (nee Vessey) of Eldon, age 81 years.
Beloved wife of the late John G. MacPherson. Loving mother of John MacPherson (Charlene), Daniel MacPherson, Steven MacPherson (Karen), Della Martell (Travis) and Stewart MacPherson (Tammy). Cherished grandmother of Curtis Martell, Daniel Martell, Mia Martell, Brett MacPherson (Bailey) and Connor MacPherson. Josephine will be missed by her brother Basil Vessey (Marie, deceased) and her sisters-in-law Marie Vessey and Bernita MacPherson. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Agatha (Henry) Vessey, brothers Francis Vessey (Marie), Alfred Vessey, Leonard Vessey, Richard Vessey and Michael Vessey.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home from where visiting hours will be held Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 5 – 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 10:30 am at St. Michael’s Church, Iona. Interment will take place later at St. Michael’s Parish Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made online to St. Michael’s Parish, Iona.
