In his 59th year.
After declining health and recent diagnosis of ALS Joe passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Great War Memorial Perth Hospital.
Survived by his best friend and soul mate Colleen Miller, sons Ryan Lackey, Ryan Miller, also his reasons to live; grandchildren Kadin, Liam, Mason, and Izabella Lackey. Missed by his brothers Mike (Edith), Butch (Sandra), Tim (Joan) and sisters Margaret (Bernard) and Cindy (Lorne). Predeceased by brother George and infant sister Ethel also his parents Tom and Ethel. Remembered by his uncle Bam, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Donations in memory of Joe may be made to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute and the ALS Society.
