HORWATH, Joseph Robert – Passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Tuesday March 7, 2023 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Ann Molnar, the late Jayne (nee Kompf, 2005) and the late Peggy (nee St. Onge, 2016). Cherished father of Sarah (Alex) Zakrzewski, John (Miranda) Horwath, stepfather of Lonnie Filiault, Krystopher Filiault, Jessie Filiault, Shawn (Bexx) Molnar, Julie (Tony) Potalivo, Lindsay (Vince) Pascuzzi, TJ (Brittney) Molnar and ‘Papa Joe’ to many grandchildren. Loving brother of the late Fr. Leslie Horwath, the late John (Patricia) Horwath, the late Margaret (the late Lucien) Grant, Dennis (Joanne) Horwath. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to join the family at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (4401 Mount Royal Dr. Windsor), visiting on Saturday March 11, 2023 from 11 am to 1 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 pm, followed by the Rite of Committal at Heavenly Rest Catholic Cemetery.
