The Lord in His infinite wisdom called Jon home to Himself on March 9, 2023. Loving husband to Jenny for almost 51 years. Jon will be missed by his children Jeff and Edie (Chelsea, Brandon, Joshua), Tracy and Gerald (Erin and Andrew, Tara, Myles, Ethan, Meghan, Tanya, Jaelyn, Colton), Sonya and Eugene (Kyle, Rylan, Kaitlyn, Tamryn, Jaxon, Kelsey, Titus, Kade, Sjanie), Jan and Jacqueline (Dane, Reanne), Nikki and Kyle (Jenna, Cohen, Brooklynn, Payton, Danika), T.J. and Shane (Madden, Nolan, Harper, Hadley).
He will also be missed by his brothers and sisters, in laws, numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Jon’s greatest joy was spending time with his family, his greatest blessing.
Visitation will take place on Monday, March 13, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at SMITHVILLE CANADIAN REFORMED CHURCH 330 Station St., Smithville where the Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday March 14, 2023 beginning at 11 a.m., with Pastor Cody Swaving officiating. For those wishing to view the service via Livestream, the link will be made available below under “Events”. Private interment to take place at Lane’s Cemetery prior to the Service.
