June 13, 1928 – February 8, 2023

February 8, 2023. Jolanka Anne Slezak, beloved wife of the late Steve Slezak, entered into eternal peace on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Milton District Hospital in Milton, in her 95th year.

She will be missed dearly by her three children: Ronald (Karen), Christine (Filip) Reiman and Catherine (Robert) Mayer. Jolanka was a loving grandmother (Baba) to her four grandchildren: Tracy, Sharon, Laura and Robert; and ten great-grandchildren: Lydia, Alice, Arthur, Audrey, Violet, Jordan, Skarlet, Citana, Tiago and Declan. Predeceased by her nephew Steven. She will be missed by her sister Mary Horn and her niece Natalie and nephew Michael.

She was a most talented cook and baker and took great pride in the meals and desserts she created for family gatherings. Her children extend gratitude to the staff at Seasons Milton Retirement Home and Milton District Hospital.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke, on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, from 10-11 a.m. A Funeral Mass to celebrate her life will be held at 11 a.m. followed by a reception. Interment to follow at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens.
