John Paul Anderson passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side at the age of 55 years on February 21, 2023. Born on January 4, 1968 at St. Thomas Hospital to Christine Anderson. John loved watching and coaching his daughter in baseball. He loved music, playing poker, walking, dogs and watching sports. He was funny, supportive, caring and out-going. Anyone who knew him knew he would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Ashley Anderson (Ben Harvey), his beloved mother Christine Anderson, his brother Jim (Chrissy) Anderson and their children Jesse (Alicia) Anderson and Jarrett (Erin) Anderson, his sister Pauli (DJ) Staples and their children Destiny Staples and Jordan Klassen (Dan), as well as Ashley’s mom Peggy Friesen. John is predeceased by his grandparents Max and Madeline Moore. A visitation will be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg, ON (519) 842-5221 on Monday February 27, 2023 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm with a Funeral Service to follow at 3:00pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Ted Smith officiating. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association and would be appreciated by the family.
